8 years ago a staff member bought me a chia pet – she knew that I had not voted for Barack Obama, so she bought me the Original Barack Obama Chia pet as a gag Christmas gift – we grew it in the office. At first I was annoyed as the gift was a dig at ‘my candidate’ having lost the election, but I viewed it as a challenge, I had my little Chia pet in the office – we all took turns in watering it. My ‘payback’ was getting to cut his hair… 😀
So – now that we’re after another quite contentious election, I googled ‘Trump Chia Pet’ – and lo-and-behold, the Good folks at Chia have a whole range of them!!

Disclaimer: I don’t anyone to take this the wrong way – a chia-pet should not be used as a political dig if the recipient is going to get extremely angry – and my first reaction to receiving mine was not that favorable, so perhaps couch it as ‘give him a decent haircut’ or ‘style the hair how you want’ – whatever will ‘defuse’ the tension! 😀
