How to Turn Off Comments for all pages in WordPress

If you’re building your website in WordPress, you might want to consider turning off the comments for all your pages – if you have a blog, it’s OK to allow comments on posts, but pages tend to be YOUR CONTENT, and most often comments are not welcomed on pages.

So – You built the site and forgot to turn off your commments?

First visit your list of pages – this is accessed by hitting the ‘Pages’ link on the side-menu

Now select all the pages using the ‘select all’ checkbox – and select ‘edit’ from the drop-down:

Choose the ‘select all’ checkbox to indicate that you want to make this change to all pages- and select ‘edit’ from the Bulk Actions drop-down:

From the ‘Comments’ drop-down – select ‘Do not allow’ – and hit the ‘update’ button to save this option for all pages:

You are done! – a similar approach can be applied to blog posts.
